Eco Church is a programme throughout England and Wales which encourages churches to care for creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement and lifestyle choices.

We are extremely proud to have been awarded our Bronze Eco Church Award in May 2025 and our Silver Eco Church Award in April 2026.

As part of the work towards our awards, we have active changes to the way we worship and teach - creating climate focused prayer cards, using local flowers and foam free arrangements and running specific groups to focus on how we can continue our eco church progress. All of our building upgrades have been done with sustainability and environmental awareness. We also have a huge thanks to the Wall Heath in Bloom team who collaborate with us when working on land and nature.

We have a number of activities planned for 2026 including World Kindness Day, The Big Butterfly Count and 30 Days Wild in June!
