Eco Church is a programme throughout England and Wales which encourages churches to care for creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement and lifestyle choices.

We are extremely proud to have been awarded our Bronze Eco Church Award in May 2025.

As part of the work towards our Bronze Award we have already made active changes to the way we worship and teach - creating climate focused prayer cards, using local flowers and foam free arrangements and running specific groups to focus on how we can continue our eco church progress.

In the next stage of our work, we will specifically be looking at how we manage our land to encourage wildlife and nature to flourish around us. Further to this, we are soon hoping to make upgrades to our Church Hall which will support us in our buildings becoming more environmentally friendly.
